Care

How do I care for a Jacquard saree?+

Dry-clean only, always. Between wears, air the saree in shade, refold along different lines every few months to avoid permanent creases, and store it wrapped in a muslin cloth away from direct sunlight. Keep silica pouches nearby in humid months.

Will the zari tarnish over time?+

Our Gold Zari is tested for purity before a saree leaves our atelier. Stored correctly (muslin wrap, no plastic, no damp), it retains its lustre for decades — our customers regularly report their Jacquards looking brand new years later.

Shipping

How long does delivery take?+

Metro cities receive orders in 2–4 working days; the rest of India in 4–7. Every order is insured door-to-door and you can track it live from your account or the order confirmation page.

Is Cash on Delivery available?+

Yes — COD is available on most serviceable pincodes. Enter your pincode at checkout (or on any product page) to confirm availability for your address.

Returns

What is the return policy?+

We accept returns within 7 days of delivery, provided the saree is unworn with all tags and the authenticity certificate intact. Refunds are issued to the original payment method once the piece passes our quality check.

Authenticity

How do I know my saree is genuine quality?+

Every Varni Vastra saree ships with a quality certificate from our Surat atelier. Our Jacquard weaving ensures consistent patterns and Gold Zari quality across every piece.

Orders

Can I get a blouse stitched with my saree?+

Most sarees offer a stitched-blouse option at product level — choose it before adding to bag. Unstitched blouse fabric ships by default where included.

Do you ship internationally?+

Not yet — we currently deliver across India. International shipping is on our roadmap; write to care@varnivastra.com and we will notify you when it opens.
